Becoming an independent individual (financially), basically i do not have the luxury to flash my student ID at fast food joints anymore, plastic card bills to clear and i have started to contribute to family household.

Learning to balance (work, family, friends & love) with responsibility.

I love life and i'll live whatever(challenges/joy) it brings me.

dear diary,

i've just returned from melbourne about a day ago, so much has happened within the 2 weeks trip.

I caught up with chunchun and ag and we had a very hearty steamboat dinner at their place, lonsdale. The next day, i felt weak just before dinner and fell sick on the second day of arrival. (suspected to be food poisoning) Chris, my lecturer, drove me to St Vincent's A&E that very night. During the time i was at St Vincents', i was really scared.. i guess its kinda due to the lighting they had in the wards, being all alone without my loved ones. Anyway, its the first time i fell sick on a trip! Emotions kicked in. I slept in the next day, skipped lessons, and had a good rest. It was about 4pm, when natalie came back home i was elated! i wanted to head out badly after being coped up in the room for a day. I was all jumpy, strong enough to kill a cow!

well, for some reasons, i had to stay in the room. the next thing i know of "sharon! chris called an ambulance for you!" (i shall skip this part) but all i want to say, is the paramedics rejected me, and i got angry, i wasnt feeling good at all at this point of time, seriously. Especially when i was told that Chris informed my parents, and you know how parents get paranoid, if they hear about an ambulance coming for your child. I really wanted to get out of the place i was in at that point of time. i wanted to leave. not leave melbourne, but away from that irritant (it's a roommate i am referring to, bunshole!).

I realised that how i feel affects the people around me, people who are sincerely concern about me, thus, i thought by staying calm is the best solution and i should enjoy my stay in melbourne! I went back to school the next day, and felt really good. i wanted to show people that i am strong and i can handle such shit in life. Well, you may choose not to love shit, but shit happens! Like the wise men said : "Life is like a toilet bowl, it is full of shit, you just have to learn to flush them away."

I should say that i feel sorry for being able to bounce back in such short time, because the one who's been affected by the incident for the longer period of time is the ultimate loser at the end of the day. Well, too bad! bunshole! Anyway, that aside, i enjoyed my trip to melbourne... experiencing life once again, exploring the different possibilities. I enjoyed the Great Ocean Road tour, its da bomb! I'll miss Il Freddo's Gelatino! Papa Gino's Pizza~ Crown Casino! Oh heavenly Brunetti~! KoKo Black! DFO DFO DFO! Queen Victoria Market. St Kilders! etc etc,

Lastly, my friends in melbourne! I caught up with Narita as well in Melbourne Central, Serene Sia ( Sis's friend), Chun chun and ag!, and their korean friend, i forgot her name, and many melbourners ( even the nurse at St Vincent's! ) that i took photos with. Take Great Care my friends in Melbourne! We will meet when we meet.

School's started, engine's stalled. One Last Lap in TP

It's a new year. in another month or so, i'll be graduating from TP. The "by chance" luck to get into design, visual communication. At some point of time, i felt i have found my call in life. In the midst of fyp, the final hurdle to my diploma. I guess all designers often experience mixed emotions, coming from all direction in one shot. That's how concentrated the emotions are. Before projects, before deadlines, before launch, after launch. Not forgetting satisfaction & disappointment. I found my drive in advertising & photography.

On a lighter note, somehow i purposely missed the countdown to 2008, Chinese New Year is coming, am looking forward to it like every year. and i'll hit the big 2-0 soon.

it started off with prayers in the morning, stepped on my sis shoes that got her oh soooo mad at me for i dont know why, lunch at east coast road prawn noodie, went orchard shopping with sam, saw this braun buffel wallet i really really liked, met up with ag and :)chuns, had some cheena food but was great, walked towards raffles from chinatown, went up a building to borrow their toilet, discover they have a feet-level pool, then leading to a 1.2m pool complimented with a really nice view of the almost ready colourful ferris wheel, as usual ag started drawing, and how i wish i had a camera, teasing each other and daring to strip to jump into the pool, chuns started it, then reluctantly revealed the christmas gift she bought for me, and it was an instant camera!!!!!, and we really did had fun in the water in our undies.

It was a nice sunday firing off with some asparagus with bacon (bad picture though, but tastes great..) :D followed by some chawanmushi yummy yummy. (of coz yummy lo.. i added hmm.. scallops? and alot other stuff la.. hehe) both v healthy as well... if u dont consider bacon's fat and egg's yolk. :D i used extra virgin olive oil leh!! virgin leh!! give the olives a chance la. hahaha :D followed by an afternoon of badminton with my secondary school girls.. then mac... hahahahha after we workout, we makan. yay!! :D got the car for the day.. so kinda drove them around lo. =.="

a lil update on friday as well, hmm haha i attended shufen's bbq birthday bash at sembawang park. some really ulu ulu place opposite JB, the food... fabulous. shufen can really cook man.. missing her tom yum beehoon alr.. shufen!!! cook more for me!!! :D

below... rainbow. on my way to shufen's party i saw this really huge rainbow while i was on the train.. really beautiful, and the other one... which is slightly richer in colour is actually a rainbow casted on the floor!!! u wouldnt believe it... i actually noticed it. the floor (black granite) and i can see a rainbow. hehe. its at national library anyway. i guess i'm pretty lucky.. coz' whenever i see a rainbow.. it just kinda brighten me up a lil.

besides, i'm trying to master the art of slacking. spending my time quality-ly, besides designing... i'd like to balance my life with food, music, friends, drinks, workouts!!!!! :D guess that's all i've got!

just a lil update on ur friend's life, aka yours truly. :D have been kinda slack..... but i believe fyp's starting real soon. kinda made myself slack and slack, probably wont be able to after november. :D havent been feeling good thru the past few days. oh well... guess its juz growing up process. as for fyp, i am pretty certain i am majoring on advertising lo.. juz dont know why... practically everyone thought i am a photo major.. well.. thats not gonna bug me anymore. the first crit is coming soon. though i am very much looking forward to christmas like every year.... this year i guess it juz gonna be a lil different. :D today's a pretty good day.. started off with lunch at aunt's place.. then beach with deee followed by a secondary school gathering... guess life's good with great friends... haha we laughed like mad cows at parkway's kfc :) then ccl sent us home... he drove.. lol.. cant believe.. time passes really fast. last time... ccl and i had to chiong ar... hop onto bus before we;re late... and we're now drivers. hehe. of coz.. gossipping... and we actually had this.. talk.. whereby its mostly about sex.. blah blah.. and reveals on secret affairs with one another. oh man... we were really great actors.. like.. any 2 normal friends.. sitting beside each other in class can turn into couple.. sooo nonsensical.. its like... okay.. hahaha secondary school what.. we'll have puppy love.. hahahaha only i most innocent. today's like.. not my day. SUPER. to the max. haha but ok la. i wasnt like angry or anything. met up with sarah to do darkroom today. then... supposedly so happy.. leaving school on time for project shoot at joie's place. WTF. i left the dev tank in the film dryer! soooo.. i had to chiong back to school. and go round like a fool. then.. i took a bus to joie's place. WTF i thought the bus will like land me at that stop, which it didnt. of couse WAH LIAO i had to walk. but still.. i wasnt in a bad mood!!!!! i dont know why!!! then went joie's place. i was really tired. and feeling not so good about being late. OH WELL. anyway had good sandwich for dinner and SURPRISINGLY, i did not stay over to liek.. slack or play.
i was REALLY TIRED.

when a block ends, grab as much sleep as you can/clear your loose ends/pack your room. oh well, i ended my block on thursday, oh yes, i finally caught L word til season 2. I AM THAT SLOW. hahahahahahaha be that way! fri, i cleaned my room ABIT, continued with my dvd then went out with QW,girlfriend and yiying for dinner. caught fireworks. then saturday, i was home. tired i guess so i was like in my room whole day. sunday was at granny's place.

Well. today's Jap test,, grrr not so bad la... anyway joie's not in sch for 2 days alr. arrrrr no one shooting in studio.. damn bored. went studio.. slack.. then went for parade training. alright, dont ask me why i'm back there. well, i want to go back to "training" man... i am feeling damn heavy. its been sometime, since i really blog about myself. well.. out of the norm, today shall not be a "general" post.

I've always wanted myself to drift, drift far far away from the land, sadness. drowning myself with tons and tons of work, a lil joy and sleep. joy from satisfaction. satisfaction from teaching/helping others. i dont see my life as boring, because everyday's filled with so much work, cock talking, friends, family. still, i felt something missing. somethings i didnt want to face, somethings i have to someday.

i will never deny, if anyone asks me straight into my face. i just have no intentions to get involved in or rather, to explain. something, i have totally no control of.

i have no regrets because i am what i am, i just want my everyday to be happy.
